Journal Quality Indicator of India (JQII) is an outcome of a research project aimed at introducing a mechanical system for evaluating quality of Indian journals. The National Science and Technology Management Information System (NSTMIS), a division of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has been funded for this project with the aim to develop a proxy indicator for measuring journal quality.

Evaluation Process
